Youth Education & Mentoring (YEM) programs connect Dartmouth students with local children, tweens, and teens--in and out of school.

Growing Change

Growing Change connects Dartmouth students with local children in grades preK-2 to explore food systems and nutrition. Each week mentors work at nearby Dothan Brook School, supporting health and science education during the school day.

SIBS pairs Dartmouth students one-to-one with youth ages 6-13 who have been nominated by guidance counselors. SIBS pairs meet weekly, after school or on weekends, for conversation and activities that build youths' sense of connection and confidence.

Strengthening Educational Access with Dartmouth (SEAD)

In Strengthening Educational Access with Dartmouth (SEAD), students work with Upper Valley youth to help them develop habits and skills needed to thrive in high school and succeed in the best college for them. The program serves a cohort of first-generation and/or low-income high school students starting in their sophomore year of high school and continuing into college.
