Program Details

Outdoor Leadership Experience (OLE) is a group mentoring program in which Dartmouth students work on leadership and outdoor skills after school with grade 5-8 students in Canaan, NH and Hartford, VT. Each year culminates in an overnight camping trip that allows mentees to put their skills to use.

Time Commitment: 6 hours per week (1-hour team meeting on Sunday afternoon or evening and 2-7pm on Wednesday or Thursday or Friday) for at least one term per year

Setting: Around the Upper Valley (usually outside)

Population supported: Youth in grades 5-8
