Internships

Internships through the Center for Social Impact are generously funded through the Dartmouth Partners in Community Service (DPCS) program. Through DPCS, students receive up to $6,500 in funding to pursue community-based service internships with nonprofit agencies throughout the United States and its territories. Internships must be 8 to 10 weeks in length, in-person, and for 40 hours per week. All interns are matched with a Dartmouth alumnus, who serves as their mentor throughout the internship experience.

There are currently two types of internship experiences – "Design Your Own" which are offered every term, and "Cohort" internships which are offered only during the summer.

Walk in during our office hours, schedule an advising appointment or email service.internships@dartmouth.edu to talk with an adivosr. Appointments are not erquired but always appreciated! Internship advising takes place in South Fairbanks Hall room 301. 

Office Hours

During the summer term, office hours are as follows:

- Tuesdays: 2:30 - 4:00 pm
- Thursdays: 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Office hours for the fall term will be released around the first week of fall classes.
