Description: SIBs is a one-on-one mentoring program that pairs Dartmouth students with kids ages 6-12 who attend one of our partner schools. Mentees are recommended by their School Counselors as students that would benefit from having a consistent adult mentor in their lives. Pairs develop relationships by regularly spending time together participating in various activities around the Upper Valley.
Time Commitment: Approximately 4 hours per week for at least one year
Setting: Around the Upper Valley
Group or One-on-One: One-on-One
Population supported: Youth ages 6-12
Special Requirements for Involvement: You must have had a valid US or Canadian driver's license for at least one year, have driven at least 1,500 miles, and be on for two consecutive terms to apply
Application: Application opens January 3; Applications due Monday, January 22 by 4:30 PM; Interviews will be held from Monday, January 29 to Friday, February 9.
