Born and raised in Mexico City, Lucrecia holds a BA in International Relations with a double major in Diversity and Migration, and another in Gender and Public Policy from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM) and a BA in Music majoring in Concert piano with a minor in Opera singing. Her career has been a bridge between academia, public policy and governmental areas. She has worked for UNAM, the Mexican government, as a researcher at Dartmouth College and international NGOs, always seeking to create safe, collaborative and cross-communication spaces.
By joining the OPAL team, Lucrecia seeks to promote the creation of safe spaces, the empowerment of the student community and to share conversations that move us. Outside of OPAL, Lucrecia enjoys traveling, creating music, cooking, going to therapy and spending time with her family.
