Born and raised in Ohio, Ashley Audu obtained both of her college degrees at Kent State University. She completed college as a first-generation student of color who came from a low-income household. She has a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media Production, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs, and certificates in Career and Academic Advising and Internationalization in Higher Education. Ashley has had the opportunity to work in multiple areas within higher education and enjoys taking on roles that allow her to work closely with the student population. Her goal is to assist in creating supportive and inclusive spaces for marginalized students that allow them to complete their degrees in safe and welcoming environments.
