Zantasia Johnson (she/her/hers) joined the OPAL team in June 2021 as a Program Coordinator for Community and Leadership Development. Within OPAL, Zantasia will support the Black and Pan African student community.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zantasia holds a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a M.Ed from Texas Tech University. Zantasia is a first-generation college student who was raised by a single mother. Zantasia's experience in Student Affairs includes serving as a Graduate Hall Coordinator, completing an ACUHO-I internship at Purdue Northwest University, and working in the Campus Activities and Student Engagement office at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Zantasia loves connecting with others about shared interest, traveling, listening to music, crafting, finding new restaurants and exploring coffee shops.
