Mirna Lopez Acosta

Mirna Lopez Acosta is an undergraduate student ('27) from Jalisco, Mexico, and Las Vegas, NV. She is double majoring in Psychology and Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies with a minor in Sociology. As a first-generation student, Mirna is passionate about mental health and how it connects to racial inequality, immigration, and belonging. On campus, she co-founded the Mexican Student Association (MexSA), where she works to create a community that celebrates Mexican culture and supports students from diverse backgrounds.
