Mirna Lopez Acosta

Mirna Lopez Acosta is an undergraduate student ('27) from Jalisco, Mexico, and Las Vegas, NV. She is double majoring in Psychology and Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies, with a minor in Sociology. As a first-generation student, Mirna is passionate about mental health and how it connects to cultural identity. On campus, she helped co-found MexSA and Sigma Lambda Gamma, both focused on cultural awareness. Her favorite thing to do on campus is take waccoms (walks around Occom Pond) and read at the golf course. After spending meaningful time on the Student Advisory Board, she's excited to continue that involvement through the ASC as a Get It Done Facilitator!
