Hawa O. Hamidou Tabayi

Youth Participatory Action Research Intern

Hawa Hamidou Tabayi is an undergraduate student ('26) from Boston, MA. She intends to major in Black Francophone Literature & History with Economics Modified Public Policy while minoring in International Studies. Hawa's upbringing at the intersection of French, American, and Cameroonian culture form her interest. She is fascinated by the study of postcolonialism concerning African socioeconomic development. Her experience in grassroots organizing with the Black Lives Matter movement, environmental justice, and mutual aid network have led Hawa to believe "the personal is political." At the Academic Skills Center, she is the Youth Participatory Action Research Intern focused on examining how the center can best meet Dartmouth students' academic needs.
