Hawa O. Hamidou Tabayi

Hawa Hamidou Tabayi is an undergraduate student ('26) from Boston, MA. She works as an Academic Skills Center Programming Assistant facilitating Get It Done sessions and serves on the Student Advisory Board. She is a double major in Economics modified with Geography (on the International Economics Track) and African and American Studies. Hawa's upbringing across France and the United States alongside her origins in Cameroon shaped her academic interest in post-colonial economic studies. During her time at Dartmouth, she has led the NAACP Dartmouth chapter, engaged in multiple research opportunities, and traveled abroad in South Africa and Ghana. Working for the Academic Skills Center since her freshman year, she has helped determine how the center can best meet the student body's academic needs.
