The Academic Skills Center is offering a Vital Skills workshop series! 

Need some help with time management?  Or maybe you'd like some support with effective reading and notetaking strategies? These are vital skills for getting through this and every term at Dartmouth. Come to one or both workshops. 

All sessions are eligible for PE/WE credit through the ASC/SWC Wellness Sampler. Space is limited so register in advance via Dartmouth Groups. And tell your friends! ;)

Time Management

Week 2: Tuesday, January 14, 4:30 - 5:45 PM

Register for Time Management Workshop

Would you like to put more order into your work days? Then this workshop's for you! With a solid time management system, you'll add more structure and increase productivity during a fast-paced 10-week term. 

You'll learn how to: 

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to increase productivity  
  • Break down assignments to increase task initiation and incremental progress on large assignments
  • How to identify procrastination loops 

Tools Needed: Laptop, mobile phone

Presented as part of the Academic Skills Center's Vital Skills Workshop Series. Register via Dartmouth Groups.  This session is eligible for WE credit if you are registered for the SWC Wellness Sampler.

 

Balancing Reading and Notetaking During a Hectic Term

Week 3: Tuesday, January 21, 4:30 - 5:45 PM
