Return Forms and Deadlines

Please review the entirety of the return process, detailed below. If you have questions, schedule an appointment with your Undergraduate Dean. We recommend you begin this process well in advance of the 60-day deadline. Keep in mind that you may submit your return materials beginning the first day of classes of the term before you wish to enroll.

Important Deadlines

Return material includes return request form and any supporting documentation as required.

Completed applications are due at least 60 days in advance of the first day of classes for the term you wish to enroll and should be returned to the Undergraduate Deans Office or emailed to your assigned dean. Applications not received or with some portion incomplete by the deadline will not be considered.  

Students returning from medical leave are expected to work with Dick's House Health Services or the Counseling Center at least two weeks in advance of the 60 day deadline.

Request for Return Forms

If you will be requesting on campus housing along with your return, please contact Housing as soon as possible at 603-646-3093 to inform them you will be applying to return. Please contact them regardless of if you have been approved for return to let them know you are applying to return (and for which term).

Important Tasks

To complete the return process, please be in touch with the following offices before returning to campus.

Dick's House Health Services or Counseling Center

For medical returns you will need to additionally complete the medical clearance process. Please contact the office that supported your medical leave.

Registrar

You will not be able to check-in for your return term without taking care of the following items:

  • Update your D PLAN enrollment pattern
  • Make course selections (D PLAN must be updated)
  • Confirm permanent mailing address and phone number
  • Discuss transfer credit(s), if applicable
  • Confirm Major status
  • Email Registrar's Office

Housing

  • Review the Housing Return Process and Deadlines
  • Contact Housing immediately upon submitting your return application to discuss housing options
  • Follow instructions for submitting a housing application
  • Confirm Hinman Box address
  • Email Residential Life

Campus Billing and DartCard Services

  • Arrange for tuition and housing bill payments
  • Make arrangements for any necessary student loan payments
  • Email Campus Billing

Financial Aid Office

  • Arrange for tuition and housing bill payments
  • Make arrangements for any necessary student loan payments
  • Obtain and complete any necessary paperwork from the Financial Aid office
  • Email Financial Aid

Health Services Insurance Office

  • Obtain student health insurance material and forms
  • Complete insurance waiver form if not enrolling in the plan

Visa and Immigration Services

Undergraduate Deans Office

  • Schedule a returning student meeting with your dean for the first week of the term
  • Review your academic plans and support network for the term
  • You will have a check-in hold until you meet with your dean
