All are welcome to join us at Rollins Chapel as College Organist Henry Danaher '08 shares some of the most recognizable organ music associated with weddings, from boisterous marches such as that from Mendelssohn's music for A Midsummer Night's Dream, recessionals such as the Toccata from Widor's Fifth Organ Symphony, to sublime and reflective music such as Pachelbel's Canon in D and Ralph Vaughan Williams' setting of the hymn tune Rhosymedre. The pipe organ at Rollins Chapel, an instrument of 3,937 pipes given by Basil F. Austin '31, is one of Dartmouth College's hidden treasures.
