The latest Ives Recital features organist Andrew Johnson, who is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Eastman School of Music.
The Ives Recital Series at The Church of Christ at Dartmouth College presents Andrew Johnson, organist.
Free and Open to the Public!
Andrew Johnson will present works by Florence Price, J. S. Bach, César Franck, Felix Mendelssohn, Herbert Howells, Louis Vierne, and others in a recital Friday evening in Hanover, NH at The Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, the white-steepled church located at 40 College St., just off the Dartmouth green.
Andrew is currently pursuing a DMA degree in organ performance and literature at the Eastman School of Music, where he studies with David Higgs, and holds an MM degree and a graduate performance diploma from the Peabody Conservatory. He is assistant organist at Christ Church (Episcopal) in Rochester, New York.
No tickets required! All are welcome. This recital series was made possible by a generous gift of Mary Ives about 20 years ago.
