Upper Valley Rural Resilience Cohort

Upper Valley Rural Resilience Cohort Internships are partnered internships developed by the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact. We work with vetted, innovative nonprofits to design robust impactful internships.

Upper Valley Rural Resilience Internships introduce students to community and economic development in rural contexts while supporting our local Upper Valley community.

About the Program

  • 10-week full-time summer internship (summer 2025 dates are anticipated to be June 21 - August 30* these dates subject to change).
  • Interns are provided a stipend that helps offset summer living costs
  • Regular professional development programming

Housing and Living Stipends

For our Upper Valley cohort internship program, DCSI coordinates and pays for student housing. The housing in the upper valley will have shared bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.

Because DCSI pays for housing, the stipend check you receive is for living expenses during your internship such as groceries and public transportation. The 2025 stipend for the Upper Valley cohort will be announced soon.

How to Apply:

Summer 2025 applications are due April 14, 2025.
