Robert S. Victor serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Operations for Comcast Business, responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis; the budget and long range plan; capital deployment; sales reporting; business and customer processes; and business development. He and his team work closely with field leadership and Cable's finance organization to develop and execute on operating budgets, build out the network, standardize and enhance business processes, and pursue new growth opportunities.
2008-2013 Mr. Victor served as Senior Vice President of Strategic and Financial Planning for Comcast Corporation, and was responsible for the consolidated budget, the long-term strategic plan, capital allocation, new strategic growth initiatives and supporting Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal on strategic projects. In that role, Mr. Victor co-led the transition of NBCUniversal from GE to Comcast and the integration of NBCUniversal and Comcast cable channels, helped form Cable WiFi, and helped launch Comcast's advanced advertising and analytics initiatives. Mr. Victor helped start and then led Comcast's Financial Management Leadership Program for high potential early-career finance professionals.
to joining Comcast, Mr. Victor served as a Partner and Managing Director of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and headed the firm's Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice on the East Coast. Throughout his twenty-year tenure at BCG, Mr Victor's principle client was the commercial division of one of the world's largest telecom providers, where Mr. Victor led the creation of an elite sales unit to drive growth in the Fortune 500 segment. Additionally, Mr. Victor served as a Principal and core member of BCG's eVentures Group, where he participated in the development of several new internet businesses. He was a founding member of BCG's Washington, DC, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur offices.
Mr. Victor earned an AB degree in Philosophy from Dartmouth College, summa cum laude, and a JD degree from Harvard Law School. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children, chairs the board of Mastery Charter Schools, and serves on the board of the Academy of Natural Sciences.
