Michael Berger '14

Michael has spent his career working at the intersection of climate change and other environmental topics. Currently, he works on Carbon Dioxide Removal for Microsoft. Previously, Michael has consulted on environmental topics for governments (including the Biden and Obama Administrations), philanthropic foundations, multilaterals, nonprofits, and corporations.

Michael has been engaged with the Center for Social Impact since he was a student, where he led Outdoor Leadership Experience (OLE). Since graduating, he served as a Young Alumni mentor for interns in San Francisco. Outside of the Center, he and his partner volunteer at homelessness, wildlife, and LGBTQ+ organizations across the Bay Area.

Michael holds an M.B.A from Yale and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth. He lives in San Francisco with his partner.
