Cass joined the DCSI in June 2025 with a passion for impact work, education, and supporting students' development. At the DCSI, Cass will be assisting with the Center's storytelling. She is excited to highlight the ways the Dartmouth community (especially its students) is making a positive impact on the surrounding community and the world.
Before joining the DCSI, Cass was a high school Spanish teacher at Hartford High School, her alma mater just down the road. In addition to teaching Spanish, she taught a community engagement class where she and her students learned about local and global challenges and then practiced ways to make a difference. After teaching, Cass pursued her M.A. in Higher Education at Elon University and worked in their Global Education Center.
In her spare time, you can find Cass in a dance studio, at trivia night, or thrifting. She is an avid NYT games player and considers herself "outsidey," which is not the same as "outdoorsy." Feel free to ask her to explain the difference.
