Amanda holds a Masters in Social Work and has worked as a clinician in outpatient clinics as well as private practice. Her area of expertise is cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and mood disorders. Since closing her practice in 2014, Amanda has devoted her time to volunteer positions.
As an undergraduate, Amanda was active in Dartmouth Hillel holding various leadership positions. She was also a member of Green Key Society and Casque and Gauntlet.
Currently, Amanda is President of the Board of Directors of Riverdale Neighborhood House, a settlement house in the north west Bronx, and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Horace Mann School. She volunteers for several other not for profits focusing on education and child mental health. Amanda is also an active volunteer at Dartmouth. She is currently co-head class agent for Dartmouth College Fund and has served on the Dartmouth Hillel Board of Overseers.
Amanda, her husband Michael and their three daughters live in Bronx, NY.
