Stephanie Welsch-Lewin '88 graduated from Dartmouth College, cum laude with a joint degree in religion and education. She received her business training at the Leo Burnett Advertising agency in Chicago, working on clients such as Pillsbury, Kellogg's and Hallmark. She then moved to Backer, Spielvogel, Bates in New York for the Miller Brewing Company account, and helped launch Miller Genuine Draft. In 1990 she formed her own marketing company, Moriarty Communications, with a partner and focused on the hard alcohol industry.
After the birth of her first child, Stephanie became a serial Dartmouth volunteer. While serving as Vice President and then President of the Class of 1988, the Class was chosen Class of the Year, during which time; she twice earned President of the Year honors. She also served as reunion chair for the 15th, 20th & 25th reunions. Stephanie chaired the Trustee elections that helped unite the Alumni body. She currently serves on the executive board of Dartmouth Partners in Community Service and is one of the creators of Dartmouth's innovative Lifelong Class Partnering Initiative. Simultaneously, Stephanie serves on the board of the Dartmouth Club of Washington as Parent Chair, is an active Alumni interviewer and the Class of 1988's Mini Reunion Chair for D.C.
Outside of Dartmouth, Stephanie serves as President of her neighborhood HOA, The Kenwood Citizens Association, is a past chair of Sidwell Friends School longest standing fundraising event, "The Next To New Sale," as well as both its Golf Tournament and Auction.
Stephanie is married to Howie Lewin and is the proud mother of Aaron '17, THP'17 and Laura '20. Stephanie enjoys golf, travel and readily admits to being a voracious reader.
