  • Bianca Ranson has a degree in Sport and Recreation – Outdoor Education from Auckland University of Technology (AUT).  She has had many years’ experience working with local Māori, youth at risk, international students and international visitors, providing customized programs and tours to support and engage the various groups and individuals she works with.  Māori customs, traditions, and ways of being in the world, Tikanga Māori, is at the heart of the work she does, engaging students with the outdoor environment, on local marae, and engaging with Māori arts, language, and culture. Here is a link to a TEDx talk she’s given about her work:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ljHI9zKTp4.
