The Native American Program's current mission is to support the well-being and success of Indigenous students at Dartmouth through programming and initiatives dedicated to four main pillars: Academic Support, Well-Being, Community Engagement, and Personal and Leadership Development. After a 2023 External Review, a 2024 Advisory Group made up of Native and Indigenous students, faculty, alumni, staff, and community partners is in process of updating the mission, vision, and core values statements. As part of a strategic planning process, all new items will be released during Fall 2024. Of the Native and Indigenous initiatives across Dartmouth, the Native American Program is tasked with supporting the personal, cultural, and social development and wellbeing of Native and Indigenous undergraduate students.
