NAP Resources

The Native American Program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, and Dartmouth-sponsored student groups in supporting community-building efforts, cultural and educational enrichment, and navigating emergent issues. The following types of funding are available through application via Dartmouth Groups. You can also read about funding in our NAP Student Funding Opportunities Brochure.

Types of Student Funding

  • Community Fund
    • The NAP Community Fund was established to provide support for programs and events that are an expression of the Native American Program's values and promote community building. Enrolled undergraduate students, graduate students, or Dartmouth-recognized student groups may apply. NAP's contributions range from $25 - $750 per event, if approved.   • Native American House
    • Native American House funding supports regularly occurring Living-Learning community specific events, like NAH Weekly Resident Dinners, Aloha Fridays, Midnight Breakfast, and other standing supplies. 
  • Professional Development Fund
    • ​​​​​​​The Professional Development fund can cover costs associated with the following items. Apply and find out more information at dartgo.org/napprodevfund
      • ​​​​​​​Graduate and professional school test preparation courses and fees
      • Job search expenses, including application costs, appropriate clothing for interviews.
  • NAP Fund (Emergencies and Special Circumstances)
    • Undergraduate or graduate students can apply for the NAP Fund. Apply and find out more information at dartgo.org/napfund. If an urgent situation, please reach out to NAP@dartmouth.edu. The fund can cover costs associated with the following items:
      • Cultural gatherings, ceremonies, funerals, family emergencies, and other applicable situations.
