Born and raised in Vermont, Izzy holds a B.A. in Sociology and Women's and Gender Studies from Kenyon College. Prior to coming to Dartmouth, Izzy spent three years working at WISE in Lebanon, New Hampshire. As an educator at WISE, Izzy facilitated educational programming in K-12 classrooms across the Upper Valley as well as trainings for volunteers. She also worked as an advocate on WISE's twenty-four-hour crisis line supporting survivors of gender-based violence. She is deeply passionate about education for social change, advocacy, youth empowerment, and the Upper Valley community.
After work you can find Izzy constantly reading, enjoying the outdoors, dancing (and singing) along to musical theatre soundtracks, and consuming delicious foods.
