Kalå Harman '23 is the 2021 Emerging Leader Award recipient. The Emerging Leader Award recognizes a younger member of Hōkūpaʻa who has already shown great initiative and investment in the Hōkūpaʻa community. This member is acknowledged for their time and contribution to bettering and strengthening the community for the years that follow them. This member may be a consistent support for the community, active attendee of all events, and/or helper in planning and programming initiatives. This member is also recognized as an individual who will likely act in leadership roles for the community in coming years.
