Native and Indigenous Graduation

Native and Indigenous Graduation

Every spring the Native American Program invites family, friends, faculty, and staff to celebrate the graduation of students with a Blanketing Ceremony. Although the event was held virtually last year, we were still able to honor each of our graduates with a blanket of their choosing. This important gift and gesture recognizes the unique and challenging journey of each student on their path to graduation.

The NAP is working to adapt this year's graduation celebration in accordance with the college's COVID-19 guidelines. Although we have not yet determined what form this year's celebration will take, we are dedicated to the celebration and recognition of our students and this important milestone. More information will be provide once it is available.

Honor a Graduating Student

Each graduating student will have their own individual Honor Page with notes of congratulations and photos submitted by family, friends, and loved ones. These pages are unveiled as a gift to the student on the night before the Blanketing Ceremony.
