Nataliya (she/they) is an educator who has been working in K-12 public schools since 2007. She has spent most of her career as a high school history and English teacher, and brings this invaluable experience to her role at the ASC. Nataliya also brings her lived experience as a first-gen low-income college student, graduating from Sarah Lawrence College with a B.A. in Liberal Arts ('07) and earning her M.S.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania ('11). In addition to her work with young people, Nataliya is also an organizer with the Anti-Racist Teaching and Learning Collective, facilitating workshops, supporting curriculum development, and designing programming for fellow educators.
