Beginning fall term 2018 and going forward the Office of Community Standards & Accountability will publish all Organizational Adjudication Committee (OAC) outcomes that resulted in a responsible finding. Instances of hazing, and investigations into hazing, will also be reported, regardless of whether an organization was found responsible.
Winter 2022

Bones Gate admitted responsibility for holding a large unregistered gathering where food and/or beverages, including alcohol, were being served and the majority of guests were not masked, in violation of Dartmouth College policy. Bones Gate received one term of alcohol probation effective winter term 2022, and two subsequent terms of probation effective spring and summer terms 2022.
Spring 2021

Fall 2020

Phi Delta Alpha was found responsible for violating the Group Accountability policy as well as other College policies when members engaged in unauthorized entry, disorderly conduct, and misrepresentation. Phi Delta Alpha was suspended for one term through fall 2020.
Winter 2020

The Women's Crew Team admitted responsibility for activity occurring in the fall term 2018 that violated Dartmouth's Alcohol policies, including the Hard Alcohol policy. The Women's Crew Team received one term of alcohol probation effective winter term 2020. The activity came to the attention of the College through an article published by a student newspaper in 2018 and was investigated by an external investigator hired to review the activity reported in the article. The investigation did not yield sufficient information to support conduct allegations regarding hazing.
Fall 2019

Chi Heorot admitted responsibility for hosting a large social event after their Permit of Assembly was previously revoked by the Town of Hanover. Chi Heorot received a four-term suspension effective winter through fall 2021.

The organization was prohibited from engaging in any social activities for one term. Additionally, the organization is required to participate in the BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening & Intervention for College Students) program and engage with the Athletics Office to implement educational initiatives. The activity came to the attention of the College through a Department of Safety and Security investigation.

Zeta Psi received a two-term suspension during the summer and fall terms of 2019 followed by one term of Alcohol Probation during the winter term 2020, and one term of organizational College Probation during the spring term 2020. Additionally, the organization is required to participate in the BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening & Intervention for College Students) program and engage with Greek Life to determine and implement alcohol management and educational initiatives. The activity came to the attention of the College through a Department of Safety and Security report.

The activity came to the attention of the College through a follow-up conversation with the writers of an article published by a student newspaper and was investigated by an external investigator hired to review reported activity.

Phi Delta Alpha admitted responsibility for serving a hard alcohol punch from a common source to an underage student during the spring term 2019. Phi Delta Alpha received a one term suspension during the summer term 2019 followed by one term of Alcohol Probation during the fall term 2019, and one term of organizational College Probation during the winter term 2020.
Fall 2018

Sigma Phi Epsilon admitted to providing alcohol to a minor and failing to comply with the terms of its previous disciplinary sanction during the summer term 2018. Given the nature of the violation and the organization's previous disciplinary history, the OAC Chair would have imposed a three-term suspension, effective fall, winter and spring of the 2018-2019 academic year, followed by two terms of probation with educational requirements. The sanction could not be imposed due to the revocation of the chapter's charter by their national organization. The outcome will be noted for the record in the organization's Community Standards & Accountability file.
