Fulbright and UK Awards Application Process

Professor Christie Harner will go over the application process for the Fulbright and the UK awards. Dinner will be provided.

The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant programs place grantees in schools overseas to supplement local English language instruction and to provide a native speaker presence in the classrooms.

The Fulbright Study/Research awards are offered for projects in all Academic and Creative & Performing Arts fields. Applicants can propose their own independent study/research projects or, in some countries, can propose to enroll in a graduate program.Links to an external site.

The UK Scholar programs for post-graduate study all focus on academic excellence and leadership, but there are criteria that are specific to particular scholarships that are not considerations for others (in red font below). Based on your individual profile, you may be a stronger candidates for one scholarship than the others. Applicants applying for more than one of these scholarships should adjust their application materials to ensure that they are addressing the key elements of the specific scholarship.
