Marietta went to community college in Roanoke, Virginia to attain her Associate Degree in Social Science and transferred to pursue a career in Health Education/Promotion at Radford University where she earned her Bachelor's in 2020. Her long-term goal is to continue learning and to attain a Master in Public Health degree. She is people-oriented and loves working with the community. She worked with the Roanoke Area Youth Substance Abuse Coalition for 7 years as a volunteer and as an intern. Marietta's passion for public health derives from her background in being a refugee in a resettlement camp where she saw the need for Health Education/promotion resources/personnel.
