Weekly, In Person, Candlelit Restorative Mix Yoga: All-Levels taught by Sabrina Durmaz '26
Co-sponsored by Allen House
Take a moment, amidst the middle of your week, to relax in the dim light of candles. The class will begin with a slow, gentle flow and meditation before gradually transitioning into a restorative yoga practise. Restorative yoga involves holding restful poses (often with the support of blocks or blankets) for an extended period of time. It is generally considered a gentle and passive form of yoga, with a focus on deep relaxation of the mind and muscles. Extended silence and stillness within supportive postures are intended to calm the nervous system.
Yoga mats and blocks available to borrow. All faculty, students, and staff are welcome to join.
Please register in advance for each session in Dartmouth Groups. (This allows us to prepare and to let you know if any changes occur)
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
