Thesis funding
Honors theses are administered through academic departments and programs. Students should review information on their major department or program website and contact the relevant faculty or administrator if they have questions.
Because students receive academic credit for honors thesis research, they are not eligible for SURFD funding for honors thesis research. Students seeking funding for costs directly related to senior honors thesis research should contact their major department or program as they are best positioned to evaluate and make decisions about honors thesis funding requests. There also may be funding available from other campus offices, although these funding sources are limited.
