Alicia Brandon

Associate Director

Alicia Brandon is Student Accessibility Services' Associate Director.  Alicia manages SAS auxiliary and technical services systems, and provides direct services to students with disabilities.   Along with the Director of SAS she is a consulting resource for faculty, administration, and student groups about disability-related issues and advocates for equal opportunities and routine, full inclusion of persons with disabilities in the Dartmouth community. She serves on the Foreign Language Waiver Committee and advises the Undergraduate Student Access Dartmouth and the Best Buddies Dartmouth organizations. She brings over twenty years of teaching and administration experience specializing in the support of students with disabilities and promoting awareness of neurodiversity and universal design in pedagogy.  Most of her post-secondary experience is at Landmark College, where she was an Associate Professor; Chair of the Education Department; Lead Education Specialist and Project Director at the Landmark College Institute for Research & Training; Director of Pre-College Programs; Interim Chair of the Social Sciences Department; Chair of the Self and Community Department; and an Academic Advisor.
