Diana Alvarado is one of seven National Course Managers at the National Education Equity Lab–a rapidly scaling education justice non-profit that seeks to bridge the gap between underserved high school students and prestigious colleges and universities, effectively democratizing access to higher education. Since joining the Ed Equity Lab, Diana has become the youngest in the organization to oversee the execution of multiple college credit-bearing courses offered at Title-1 and Title-1-eligible high school across the country. Diana was born and raised in Queens, NY and is a first-generation college student that graduated from Dartmouth in June 2022 with a double major in Cognitive Science and Italian Studies. While at Dartmouth, Diana developed a passion for education equity and college access work, supporting the First Generation Office as a FYSEP Mentor and Residential Fellow and working at the Center for Social Impact as the Student Director for the SEAD program.
