Assistant Dean of Pluralism and Leadership

Sebastián (they/them/theirs) came to Dartmouth in the Fall of 2014 and has served as an Interim Assistant Dean and OPAL Program Coordinator directing LGBTQIA+ mentorship programs, awareness campaigns for various affinity communities, and OPAL's peer educator program (OPAL Ambassadors). As a community member, Sebastián contributed to Latinx community events, advised Latinx students, worked to highlight the intersections of Latinx and Queer experiences, and served as a Spanish language translator for parents of Latinx students. Sebastian also served as the advisor for the Gender Equity Program Floor, Triangle House, and the Dialogue at Dartmouth residential learning communities, as a mentor to First Gen students, and as a staff facilitator for Dartmouth Bystander Initiative. Within OPAL, Sebastián Advises Latinx and LGBTQIA+ Students.
