Counseling During COVID-19
The Counseling Center continues to offer on-call services, short-term therapy, medication management, consultation, nutrition services, and help with community referral. We are also offering many helpful workshops and discussion groups that are available to all enrolled students, regardless of where you are located. While the College is operating in full or partial remote status, the Counseling Center will conduct appointments by phone or Zoom. Students are not able to walk-in to the Counseling Center to schedule appointments. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 603-646-9442 between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET. Crisis services are available 24/7 and are accessible after hours by calling 603-646-9442. Choose option #1 to be connected to the on-call provider.
Can you receive teletherapy services from the Counseling Center if you live outside of New Hampshire?
Yes, but it depends on what type of services you are interested in and your state-specific regulations. During COVID-19, some state licensing boards loosened restrictions for practicing in their state to allow for temporary practice. This has made it possible for us to provide counseling services to many students living outside of New Hampshire. We are happy to talk with you to clarify the services available to you.
