Counseling Center Staff

Care is provided by mental health professionals including: psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric residents and psychology interns.  Counseling Center clinicians are committed to helping students get the most from their college experience.

The staff list only partially identifies areas of interest, experience and expertise. The Counseling Center staff are all generalists and can work with a variety of concerns in varying areas.

2018-2019 Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow

The Counseling Center’s Postdoctoral Fellow Program offers focused training in a college counseling setting. The position includes outreach opportunities, participation and collaboration in an interdisciplinary Health Services setting, clinical supervision, and application of clinical skills in short term individual and group counseling. The fellow will engage in these responsibilities in addition to pursuing a practice speciality during their training, opportunities that include but are not limited to: Sexual Assault and Gender Based Violence, Eating Disorders, or Alcohol and Other Drug.

The Postdoctoral Fellow Program is a great opportunity for psychologists who have completed their doctorate degree (PhD or PsyD) in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and are looking to hone their skills and knowledge at Dartmouth College’s Counseling Center.

2018-2019 Veterans Affairs Medical Center Psychology Predoctoral Interns

The Counseling Center partners with The White River Junction VA Psychology Internship Program as an internship field placement site. The WRJ VA’s internship is an APA accredited training site for doctoral level graduate students in psychology. As part of the rigorous internship training, predoctoral interns spend one day per week at the Counseling Center and see Dartmouth students for individual and/or group counseling during the Fall, Winter, and Spring academic terms. All interns are closely supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist on staff.

Interns have a nine month rotation (1 day/week) at the Counseling Center.
