Dartmouth College Health Service is OPEN

We are here for you, near or far.

Dartmouth College Health Service is open to support you with your health care needs whether you are near or far.

We welcome you to schedule an appointment whether you are on-campus or off-campus using our telehealth services. We are also currently offering on-site services which may be scheduled by calling 603-646-9401.  Nursing advice is available 24/7 at 603-646-9440 during the term periods.  If you have an urgent concern, the on-call medical provider may be reached at 603-646-9400 after hours.  On-call providers are available by telephone for urgent issues during the intersession.

The Counseling Center continues to offer on-call services, short-term therapy, medication management, consultation, and help with community referral. We are also offering many helpful workshops and discussion groups that are available to all enrolled students, regardless of where you are located. While the College is operating in full or partial remote status, the Counseling Center will conduct appointments by phone or Zoom. Students are not able to walk-in to the Counseling Center to schedule appointments. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 603-646-9442 between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET. Crisis services are available 24/7 and are accessible after hours by calling 603-646-9440.

Can you receive teletherapy services from the Counseling Center if you live outside of New Hampshire?
Yes, but it depends on what type of services you are interested in and your state-specific regulations. During COVID-19, some state licensing boards loosened restrictions for practicing in their state to allow for temporary practice. This has made it possible for us to provide counseling services to many students living outside of New Hampshire. We are happy to talk with you to clarify the services available to you.

Student Wellness Center is offering Wellness Check-ins via Zoom.  You can talk with one of the Wellness staff members who will work with you to navigate the different transitions you're facing and take steps toward making the most of this term. For more information, or to schedule a check-in, please go to the Wellness Check-In page .
