Membership Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility

Students are eligible to take part in recruitment/intake processes to join an organization within GLASS based on the following criteria:

  1. Active, enrolled, residential, and undergraduate student at Dartmouth College
  2. Currently in good standing with the College (i.e. not on academic probation, conduct probation and/or deferred suspension)
  3. 2.50 cumulative GPA
  4. Be of sophmore status (three terms in residence and first-year writing requirement, or transfer/exchange equivalent)
  5. Completed Dartmouth's StopHazing Module
  6. On track for all required first and second-year Student Wellness Center Student Experience: Sexual Violence Prevention Project (SVPP)
  7. Acknowledge GLASS Expectations of Membership
  8. Meet any/all council-wide and organization requirements or registrations (set by respective council(s))

Once requirements are met, organizations are able to offer potential new members official invitations to join. When that invitation is accepted, they are required to complete the New Member Contract within 48 hours of joining.
