Kofi Odame, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Engineering and an expert in analog integrated circuits for nonlinear signal processing. His research group develops ultra low power circuits for implantable and wearable biomedical devices. Current projects include a wearable cardiac output monitoring device and an automatic asthma monitoring system. Professor Odame has received extramural funding for his research from the NSF, FDA, DoD as well as from corporate and private sources. He has published more than 30 papers in the peer-reviewed literature, and mentored 8 graduate students to date. He currently teaches courses in Analog Integrated Circuit Design, Instrumentation and Measurements, and Introduction to Linear and Digital Circuits.
