ONGOING OPPORTUNITIES

Arcade Tickets

Collect Arcade Tickets and redeem them for prizes! Throughout the duration of carnival, tickets will be handed out at events, awarded to winners of competitions, and hidden in various places around campus. Save the tickets and you can use them to either directly trade-in for prizes (while supplies last) or to enter a raffle for some of our grand prizes—including some video game consoles! The full prizes catalogue will be posted soon, so stay tuned!

Pokémon Hunt

Hidden in and around Collis are 10 wild Pokémon. First person to find and catch em' all will win the grand prize: a Nintendo Switch Lite! Next nine winners will receive a Funko Pop! Pokémon Figure. EVERYONE who completes the hunt will receive 30 "WC Arcade tickets." To start your adventure, download the Scavify app on your phone and play along on this link. More instructions provided on the app. You must be a current Dartmouth undergraduate with campus access to win.

Discord

For those both in Hanover and remote, we are launching the Dartmouth Winter Carnival Discord Server! This will serve as an informational hub, a discussion forum, and, occasionally, a host location for our programs and opportunities over the next several weeks. Use it to find out about Winter Carnival programs, and to connect with other Dartmouth students to talk and play games.

Twitch Plays Pokémon

Winter Carnival Council is happy to provide all members of the Dartmouth family with the opportunity to play the original Pokémon video game together! If you type certain letters or words into the text chat of our Twitch stream (link below), you can control the video game - it's almost like you are actually pressing the buttons on a Gameboy console. Be careful, though, because everyone will be giving inputs at the same time - it may get difficult! The stream will run 24/7 until the end of Winter Carnival, and we will be offering a reward if the Dartmouth Community is able to complete it before Winter Carnival ends!

The stream can be found here: https://www.twitch.tv/dartmouthwintercarnival. Follow the stream to make it easier to find in the future. You can also find more detais on the Winter Carnival Discord.
